It's easy to DIY your own cleaning products and it's better for your health and kind to our planet.  Here are some quick and easy recipes that you can whip up in a flash with low cost ingredients.

Citrus Infused Vinegar

Use as you would any household cleaner

  1. Fill a jar with vinegar 2/3 of the way full.
  2. Throw your citrus peels into the jar as you go. ...
  3. Let the citrus peels infuse into the vinegar for at least a week.
  4. Fill up a spray bottle with one part citrus-infused vinegar, one part water.

All-Purpose Natural Cleaners

Mix 1/2 cup organic white distilled vinegar or lemon with 1/4 cup baking soda into 1/2 gallon 2 litters of water. Great for bathroom fixtures, tile floor, glass, windows and even mirrors. (Don’t use on marble or wood.)

Carpet Stain Remover

Mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray directly on stain, let sit for several minutes, and clean with a brush or sponge using warm soapy water.

Wood Polish

Mix 1 cup olive oil to ½ cup lemon and rub small amount into wood. A little goes a long way!
